Card Box with Cards

Well, now that Christmas is over, I actually have time to post again!!! Yay!  Merry Christmas to everyone and their families, from mine to yours.

Here is a card box that I made for my Mother-In-Law for Christmas. I used the My Creations Recipe/Photo Box, covered it with Pemberley paper, and then made over 40 cards to fill the box! I added dividers for 6 different themed cards, Anniversary, Baby, Birthday, Christmas, Easter, Get Well and Gift Card Holders.

Advent Calendar Class

I had seen where someone had created an Advent Calendar without the Close To My Heart kit, but still using the Close To My Heart cubby, so I thought I would try created one as well and offer either Advent Calendar for the class.

Here is Option# 1:

And here is Option# 2:

Option# 1 is the Advent Calendar Workshop On The Go, other than the paper that comes in the kit, it also comes with a C-Sized stamp set of the frames and numbers, unique frames that are only available through the Workshop On The Go kit, sparkles and of course the cubby to hold all of the boxes.  This kit is $65 for the class, and I will have everything pre-cut.

Options# 2 comes with the cubby and paper.  It does not come with a stamp set, frames or sparkles.  This kit is $50 for the class and I will have everything pre-cut.

If you would like to attend the class for the Advent Calendar, I am offering the class on Friday, November 23rd at 630 pm, and Saturday, November 24th at 1pm.  I need to order the supplies for the class this Wednesday, November 7th, so please let me know by then if you would like to attend, and which Advent Calendar you would like to make.

Christmas Advent Calendar

I made the Advent Calendar in current Idea Book.  It's great because you can put your own little treats into each box for your kids, spouse or yourself to countdown until Christmas AND you can use it again year after year!  Some ideas that you can put into the boxes, small little toys for young children, fun activities written on a piece of paper such as "today we will make Christmas cookies" or "movie night", and of course chocolates.  I quite enjoyed making this Workshop On the Go Advent Calendar Kit and I thought I would offer this as a class.  I will have all of the boxes pre-cut for you and the circles/squares for the numbers.  You will need to stamp each circle/square and assemble the boxes.  The cost for this class will be $65 which includes the Workshop On the Go Advent Calendar Kit and all the necessary supplies, glue, and pre-cut items from the Cricut Artiste Collection

If you would like to attend this class, please let me know by Wednesday, November 7th 2012 as I will need to order a kit for each person.

UPDATE: I forgot to mention when I posted this last night, when I will be holding the class.  I will be holding the class on Friday, November 23 at 630pm and if there is enough interest, I will offer the class on Saturday, November 24.

Halloween Display Tray

A little while ago I saw another consultant had created a Halloween Display Tray using the new display tray, both Cricut Collections, Moonlight Paper Packet and a variety of stamp sets all from Close To My Heart.  I apologize, I cannot remember which consultant I got this cool idea from.  I had a lot of fun creating this tray, and thought I would offer it as a class.  Cost for the class will be $40, and I will have most things pre-cut already to save on some time.  I will be hosting this class on Friday, October 26th at 7pm.  If you would like to attend this class, please let me know by Monday, October 15th to allow me enough time to order in the supplies and have everything pre-cut.

Stay tuned for more class information, I am still hoping to assemble my Advent Calendar and post on my blog, as well as another card class and hopefully I can find time for another project or two!

October Christmas Card Class

I will be hosting another Christmas card class on Friday, October 12th at 7pm.  These cards are featuring the October Stamp of the Month with Close To My Heart.  I also created these cute bows from the new Artiste Cricut Collection from Close To My Heart.  This cartridge is absolutely amazing, if you have a Cricut machine, this Cricut Collection is a must!  The card class will be $20 for 4 cards and I will have everything pre-cut as per usual.  Please let me know by Tuesday, October 9th if you will be attending the class.  Kits are also available if you would like to make the cards but are unable to attend the class.

For anyone who may be interested, I will be placing a group order on Monday, October 15th to save on shipping.

September Christmas Card Class - Pear & Partridge

Since Christmas seems to come so quickly every year, I thought I would begin having Christmas card classes starting in September! On Friday, September 21st at 7pm, I will be hosting the Pear & Partridge Christmas cards class. Cost is $20 for 4 cards, I will have everything pre-cut, all you will need to do is stamp, glue, and hand-cut the odd piece. If you would like to attend, please RSVP by Tuesday, September 18th.

I thought I would do "different" style of card bases than the standard 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 card.  We will be making a Side Step card, Gate Fold Easel card, Double "Z" card, and a Tri-Shutter card.

If anyone would like to do this set of cards and is unable to attend, I can prepare a kit for you.

I plan to post more of the projects and cards I am planning to do in the next little while, so please check my blog often for updates. I would like to do at least 2 more Christmas card classes, the advent calendar which is featured in the current Idea Book, a Halloween Display tray, a Christmas Display tray, and "hopefully" a 2013 calendar.  I would like to offer these projects all as classes.

I really like the stamp set that comes in the Lucy Workshop on The Go, so I used it for this card.

June Mini Album Class

I came across this adorable mini album on Mary Gunn's blog and wanted to replicate it.  I thought this was a cute album that others would enjoy, so I am offering this as a class in June!  (Which will be held on Friday, June 15th at 630pm.)  When you sign up for the class, I need to know which paper you would like to use for this mini album, you can choose between Stella, Florentine, and Footloose.  My example album was created with Stella, as you can see below in the pictures, the pages keep opening up to hold your pictures.  This would make a nice gift or a brag book for someone special.  Cost for this class is $25 and will include the paper required to make this beautiful album, the coordinating complements to decorate the album, and adhesive.  If you would like to attend this class, please let me know by Tuesday, June 5th so that I can order the appropriate amount of supplies for the class.

Supplies:

Embellishments: Stella Complements Canvas Shapes, Cocoa button, White Daisy Embroidery Floss
